I am sold on the idea of running a small pack of airedales in the near future. Trouble is trying to find a line of working airedales in England is virtually impossible which is such a shame. How did it ever get to the point that this versatile dog has been neglected for as long as a working dog in its native country? Does anybody know of anybody in the UK that genuinely works and breeds airedales in the UK before I start looking at trying to get an import? Show ponies need not apply! Yours in sport, Peter!

A guy that went by the handle "JRearthdog" took about 6 dogs across the pond some years back. About six I believe. Intentions were to re-establish working lines there. Most of them were slickies. Doesn't sound like it was overly successful if no one has heard of them over there. Don

I used to have his e-mail address, but it has gone by the wayside.
