Never said nothing about the black man keeping us down. I just think everyone should make it on his own. I work my ass off for what I have. I don't think I should be punished for having an education and working hard, so that others could benefit. I do complain about giving benefits and services to people who are here illegally. Hey I feel I have a right to complain about unfair taxation -- have you ever heard of the Boston Tea Party?
And as far Curt goes yeah me and him had alot of the same views. But I guess this isn't the America I was raised in -- where you are allowed to voice your opinion.
Another guy that had the same view points as me got kicked off another board and he is the guy who got me wanting an airedale Clint Stubbe.
I just don't see why working Americans don't stand up and woice their opinion. Under this plan I would have to about 40% of my gross to the government. I think I have a legitimate gripe here. I say why punish the working man or the rich man -- they should be rewarded.
It is the non-working and illegal aliens that need to be punished. They are the drain on society. Let nature run it's course Survival of the Fittest.

Shawn, at least you live in a state with no income tax!!
As for followers vs. the others.
The man won, but he is slowly irritating those idiot moderates that voted for him. The Dems have a huge majority in both the House and the Senate, that gives them 3 out of 4. What people need to be focusing on are the local elections this fall to try and get a few more seats back in both Houses. We also need to have a great candidate to run against Obama in 4 years (not the joke campaign that McCain ran).
Obama in the end will determine his fate (as he is very liberal and the moderates are getting tires of him already his ousting after 4 years shouldn't be too hard).
But we need a well thought out plan years down the line because nothing is going to happen tomorrow and it will be exhausting if I thought about this every freakin day. I would be a very sour sour man and I'm not going to let him get the best of me.

True the no state income tax does help on the take home amount but they get it right back on other forms of taxes.
I was for Mitt Romney fan. On the next republican ticket I want to see a Bobby Jindal/Mitt Romney ticket. I saw first hand how Bobby Jindal governed in Louisiana and he cleared up a lot of the horse play in politics.
Actually the best pick would be Newt Gingrich but the Democrats hate him and would do anything to keep him out.

Shawn,
I like those picks....I have to agree with Newt and I too voted for Mitt.
It seems aside from you being a bit rough around the edges and you thinking I'm an idiot for living in a city....we at least share a couple of similar viewpoints.
Hell, I know your % property taxes are higher but I would love to not have that income tax.
Wolfer...I also like Jim's posts!!
