I gave him away. I have the pup I bought from you this summer, and two females that I bought from Southern.

the coons do get big and are plentyful. this one we got in I think june, I would of loved to have seen him in december. 2 months later we got another one in a den 15 yards away that was almost as big. This farm, which also happens to be the one in the first pictures has alot of game and is thick. I often miss bolts by the time I machete my way to the den. Do you think an airedale could handle killing 3 of these bigguns in a day?

An Airedale could kill three of those bigguns in an hour Herb. They are kill dogs by definition. I've had Airedales of mine pull a bunch of coons out of holes. I've never carried a shovel. If the hole isn't big enough, they dig it out themselves. I've seen a few coyotes pulled out of dens. It took a little longer for the dog to pull them out, but they still didn't last long. The biggest coon I ever saw[probably comparable in size to the one your holding] got pulled out of deep water by an Airedale of mine. The coon climbed on top of his head and dunked him once. When they came back to the surface, my dog had him by the head. Took him two minutes to swim him to shore and shake the life out of him. I've seen a handful of badgers killed by a single Airedale. An Airedales specialty isn't trailing or treeing. It's killing. They like it and they're smart about it. Really enjoyed seeing your pictures. That's my kind of fun.

Here's a couple of pictures of Airedales I've had down through the years. None were related. They were bought in different parts of the country. What was their common thread? They loved to shake the fur. Sure wished they would have had digital cameras back then. Nice looking Airedales! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
