;D I was Just fixen to post a Crede Update.... And Here It is..... Crede Is Home. Went In today and found a TOTALY new DOG. One Of the vet techs was cruising the CLinic with her( socialization I guess) when I walked In she started Barking and waggin(something New) No droopy eyes No droopys head. she was Totaly back to her old self. When I spoke with the vet I asked about all the test results And everything Is showing Normal . after a little talk I asked the Million dollar queston. Why was everyone calling her the Mircle Kid. NO ONE Including the vet expected her to Pull thru this. They couldnt Believe the fight In Our Little Crede girl. Now Comes the Problems Seems SHe Has to Be On a special Diet for the next 5 days this diet consists Of SOme special Moist dog food that runs God Only Knows How Much to a can. the clincher Is she can Only Have about 3 table spoons every Hour( Ice cream scoop) Which Means zero weight gain Over the Next 5 days. No Extreme physical activity. (tell that to the rest of the cactus Pounders) for the next 5 days SO Our Little crede girl Is confined to a Leash (which the vet techs did real well refining her leash manners) Since she had Been Home I have Had to stop her from eating Her stash of Kibbles. She has Located a screw In the wash room that fell from the Furnace. and she found What was left of the killer Blanket... and this was All While she was ONLEAD.
I informed the vet when I was leaving that if she so much as SNEEZES she will be Back.LOL
All I can say IS she IS BACK and thank god that I found a Vet that KNOWS airedales....

No one could be happier that Crede is on her way to full recovery. Don and I know how strong their will to live is because we have been though a few close moments with these Airedales for example Jumper, what a strong one she is I believe she has been down for the count about three time. Not enough can be said for their build in healing power and their ability to eat anything. By the way I really like the new board. Al tho I did like the other colors. Airedale Sitter

Well She is doin great but im beginng to rethink this regiment...... It seems to be doin one thing. SPOILING her since it is imparitive that she eats ONLY what she is supposed to at this moment, she has been with me every moment..... Yep As I type this she is sprawled across my Bed right beside me. Someone Moves the bed and she groans Like "QUIT BOTHERING ME" this does tell me she is feeling MUCH better....... And I have figured Out why Vets are Vets and Not Groomers. Cause they cant cut Hair.. Crede was working real hard On her furninshings and what did the vet do chopped a Big hole In her front right one so he could insert the IV. Not to Mention when He cut the hair on her belly He did it crooked....... Oh well least she is Home and doin better that was my worry

Kyle,
Mighty happy to hear Crede is on the mend and has only a few days of restricted diet left to contend with. What material was the killer blanket made of? Did the vet say if the problem was due entirely to blockage, or was there also some toxicity from the material?
Whatever the cost of that special food, I'm sure it's nothing compared to everything else you've been through - but unfortunately nowhere near the fine fare of a good blanket if you ask Crede. You'll have to keep an especially close eye on her until she can get a good meal.

Robert it was Like a Quilt type blanket with a wool type stuffing. What happened is is strung thru her intestines and caused the large intestine to try and turn in On itself.. when it started to turn it restricted blood flow and started Killing tissue in the large intestine and part of the intestine itself.... She absolutely hates this feeding scedual And so do I she is growing in and not gaing wait . She is her typical self But She looks sick. Monday is her checkup and Hopefully when i can start pooring the protien and fats to her to start her puttin on weight again
