I find this part interesting.
"Breeder in the country and around the world, have made a mistake by not breeding a degree of sharpness into their working dogs. Dogs that have a small degree of sharpness make much better police service dogs and personal protection dogs. "
It says a small degree of sharpness. Would this vary from breed to breed? What is a small degree of sharpness? Would it be the dog that lays back in the kennel and watches you instead of hitting the fence(posturing)? The dog that lays back waiting for you to get far enough in so he can actually get hold of you? Mr. Frawley's description reminds me of all the tough dogs on leashes that become real docile when off leash.
