Would a sport trained dog with a good and stable temperament that was contained by an invisible fence, allow strangers to walk up to the front door unmolested?

Ron depends on the dog. Sport training really doesn't increase suspicion or territorial drive in the dog.
MY aunts Schiperke would nail you any chance he had and maintained that wonderful out look until he died at 17 !!!!

My opinion is that any dog that is strong and could pose a threat should not be allowed access by means of an invisible fence to the front part of the house. I don't think it's a good idea for strangers to have easy access to the dog (regardless of if the dog is friendly or not). Better to have the fence keep the dog in spots not accessible easily by approaching the front door.
