How about some details Curt, did they locate the scent and track/tree the little bandit??? I'm trying to get my Jake started on coons, the problem is that the're scarce in Southeastern Arizona. Wonder if I could buy a live one, maybe from Cabella's, and have it shipped to my house..

How about some details Curt, did they locate the scent and track/tree the little bandit??? I'm trying to get my Jake started on coons, the problem is that the're scarce in Southeastern Arizona. Wonder if I could buy a live one, maybe from Cabella's, and have it shipped to my house.. MB (sorry, I may have forgotten you name), I would love to tell ya that I trained him to the N th Degree for Coon Hunting ...but... In all Honesty, the picture was the fourth Coon (nothing racist, there, Rob ) that Gator has treed. The first three, I didn't have a camera..hey, that reminds me of Jason Ryder's comment that I've kept...Jason, are you still reading/posting? Getting back to Honesty...Sheba and Gator Coon Hunting is all Natural Airedale Abilities, along with Bob Cat Treeing (have the pictures of that one! ;D) As a Trainer, I guess I'm a complete Failure: Couldn't put something in Gator that he didn't have, when I attempted to train him for Protection...but, that was BB (Before Banned! ) I've sent a request to Washington Coonhunters and if I go to the Coonhunter Meet in December, I hope to put Gator through some paces under Critical Eyes!!! Now, Brett and Charlie have picked up some training tips from videos, and I'm sure there are several out there...hey, Thinking of Charlie & Brett, they gave me a good link, and that link is where I found a lot of information and The Washington Coonhunters Association... Here is the link, maybe that will help... biggamehoundsmen.com/CatTraining1.php(that will take ya to the Cat Training portion...Brett and Charlie didn't tell me about the site, until Gator & Sheba got two Bob Cats ;D...guess I had to pass their qualification test, first!!! ) Good luck!

An Update on Gator's Invitation to the Washington State Coon Hunter Association...just received an email response to my email that had these pictures ;D... A treeing airedale, what fun!! That'd be a sight, fine looking dogs. You are welcome to just come even if there is only UKC, of course.
Here is their website... wscaonline.com/
This is the most current information for December 19, 2009... Title: WSCA Annual State Championship Date: Saturday December 19, 2009 Time: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm Next reminder: The next reminder for this event will be sent in 7 days, 2 minutes. Location: Yelm, WA Notes: Noon: Free Lunch 1PM: Bench Show deadline 3PM: Field Trial deadline 8PM: Nite Hunt deadline entry for each events is $15.
Free kid's bench show with prizes and awards between BS & FT Awards for all winners and trophies for State Championship winners.
I've requested additional information on the location...now...if anyone is interested in attending, let me know, and I'll pass it on to you... Charlie? You bringing your Airedale Pack to the Event? Hey, after seeing Brett's HB, which is only a 1/4 Airedale ...who knows... After Gator leaves the Event, there may be some Gator BobCat Half Airedales in the Hopper!!! ;D (who know about the Coon Hunting Half Airedales ;D) Now, I don't think I'll be heading further Down South after the Event, since Number One Marine Son and three of his buddies are wrapping up an Indonesia Operation and will be returning to the States in January. I've given him permission to use my house as his Base for an extended Mt. Baker Snow Skiing with his buddies...as long as...he promises me that my house will still be standing when they depart! Me? I think I'll take the MotorHome to an Undisclosed Location for the duration of their visit!! ;D Hey Justin...are you still reading the Board? I've been holding off on an Airedale BobCat story that I think you'll get a scoot out of it! ;D

Washington State Coon Hunters Association Event on 19 December 2009 is ON!!I received an email from a helpful Coon Hunter member, after I attempted to get the information from their Yahoo site; unfortunately, I was never approved to post asking the address for the Event...(I was beginning to wonder if there may be a correlation with my name to the Dead Horse XXXXXX Yahoo Site! ;D) Hi Curt, I didn't realize someone hadn't approved that, out of time now BUT the address for navigational devices: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Yelm, WA 98597 There was some question about grade event or not, doesn't look like it because we are very short of people willing to put forth any effort lately. ..but it will be there, food will be there, dogs will be there =)Thanks My reply... Greatly appreciate the reply and the address...for awhile, I was beginning to think Airedales wasn't going to be welcomed among the Walkers, Blue Ticks, etc.! (Just kidding)...
I know how volunteering and getting someone to follow through with the effort to "make it happen" goes.
Unless I have mechanical challenges to prevent me from attending, I intend to be there with two Airedales that may...or may not...be certified as The Northwest Only Treeing Airedales!!? LOLs...
Looking forward to the event! Curt Now, if anyone is interested in attending, PM me...
