Spaniel events that Airedale's may participate in for title just keep coming and coming There will be well over a 100 test opportunities this year. More than likely your part of the country will have an event that you may enter or go and watch. If you like seeing dogs find, flush and retrieve shot flyers it is the best spectator dog sport on earth Cheers

David, sure, though I do not think we will have to travel that far to finish Gangster's AKC title Spaniel folks usually have appropriate grounds to run an event on, some better than others. The important standard as a community they understand, to properly showcase a working venue, you have to have good cover and good birds, well trained dogs will take care of the rest of the issues.

As for me, much as I like Upstate New York, having lived there a number of years, I could not ever bring myself to visit a place called "Clinton" Corners.... Regards, Maugh

Both, Those folks that judge need to requalify and keep their credentials with the AKC up and those that want to understand better about what they need to get done in and during a test. Great place to meet some of the spaniel folks on your side of the state, also to get an understanding of what is involved in the testing your dogs under judgment. Rules and interpetation how tests are set-up from a practical standpoint and a safety standpoint for both dog and handler. Maugh and I and some others from my training class will be there, fact I just made the check out to day while I was paying bills.
The Southern Michigan club will also hold a test in April near Chelsea. not sure of the date, but will pass it on soon as I get the date.
Cheers
