There are very good Airedales in Texas which obviously comes as a surprise to some of you. ............\ "Good dogs are where you find them" Doubt if any here would be surprised. Just cause we don't know every Airedale breeder out there doesn't mean they don't exist. Don't know of ANY knowledgeable dogman that disagrees with that adage.

Ditto to what Joe said. I believe it was put mpore like we don't know of any, doesn't mean there are not any. Henry Johnson's original stock. What is the name of this kennel for future reference. That way we can point any future inquiries in the right direction. Sound like good pups. Hope they prove out for you. Listen to Hutto, he will get you started right.

Kinnidi, I thought you had BMC's but were airedaless. You got airedales now?Be nice if there were a few more actual working dale breeders.

i've had half growns around...
they've started nice.
i've been around some super nice airedale/bmc f1s, figured i'd try to raise a few. i've never really seen that cross fail, seems to nick right. some are a little on the catchy side... but that would be the only thing i'd fault them for.
plan to raise a pure litter every now and then, not many airedales around my area of the state much less working bred ones... or in texas at all, for that matter. so i guess i'll have to breed them like i need them to come, may take some work.
might try one over a hotblood gyp i've got... then a pup back under a hotblood to get the speed back. thats different territory. lots of time it takes to sort through a mess like that to get what your looking for, though.
but until any of that happens it's all just plans. need to get three spoken for bmc litters out of the way before i can go into full on experiment mode.
