Well, I'll start by providing a partial list of names of people that I know to have titled dogs. I'm sure there are others, this is just a starter list:
Myself (Myles and Turk both SchH 3).
Randy McKnight
Miyoshi Baruch (two dogs)
Ed Weiss (Briscoe)
Marcia Govednik (Ferris, IPO3, SchH 3, FH1)
Stew Tardiff
Tom Wilkins (Nicholas, who placed in the U.S.A. Nationals - a magnificent team)
That is over a period of 20 years. This is the "critical mass" problem. People do train and title Airedales, but it is spread out over time and seldom are there more than two or three people active at any one time. Of those that are active, at most one out of three succeeds in getting any titles.
