AWESOME! Awesome awesome awesome! Question - Is the prey "shake" on the helper legal in PSA? Adn the feet touching the helper? Unlike Schutzhund where each is undesireable? Thanks - Awesome! [glow=red,2,300]Mel[/glow]

No ma'am, No "prey" shake distinction in PSA. However the grip is graded, but more simply than ScH. As a PSA decoy I can say with complete certainty, fight and nerve are tested thoroughly at every level of the sport. By the way, big kudo's to Mark. PSA 1 is a heck of a test of a dogs natural ability and training. Mark and Bear not only passed, but placed. To me that says alot about both. Charles Grayson Guyer

Sorry. There is no penalty for feet touching the decoy either unless this occurs in conjunction wiht the dog obviously avoinding conflict w/ the helper. There is a distiction in reasons for this behavior.

Grayson
Sorry I missed this & thanks very much for the comments. I don't normally check anything but the general board. Recognition & appreciation also needs to go out to PSA decoys! Having done my share of decoy work, I can appreciate what you guys have to endure at a trial.
Mel, also thanks. There's really NO comparison between PSA & SchH.
