Reminds me of the time I caught my bulldog chewing the stairs.Grabbed the closest thing I could to whack him with.Turned out to be my rubber boot. When I pulled it up to whack him I hit myself in the eye.Had a shiner for a week.Never did hit the dog.

It will get better. Will be fun to talk about this when he is a CHAMP.

;DHit him again Randy!!!! let see who has the hardest head. You can't be talking about Buster can you??? I remember years ago, Winchester and Reminton caught a calf. Well, that is something that will get them shot in a heart beat. I threw both dogs in the back of the van and climbed in with them with a leather leash and proceeded to beat the tar out of myself. I was pretty worked up and didn't notice the snap was loose hanging about six inches out of my hand toward my elbow. Every time I drew back to hit them again with that leash, that damned snap hit me somewhere in the face. Well, not realizinmg what was happening, it mad me madder and I hit them a few more times. By the time I got oput of that van, I was a bloody mess and both dogs were just looking at me like I was nuts.

Remind me to tell you some time about how I followed Koehler's advice about digging by filling the hole with water and shoving the dogs head in. Don't know if any of you have tried that with a 65 lb pitbull but I can tell you how a rodeo cowboy feels riding a bronc. Not to mention being covered with mud from head to foot, lol.
