the only thing i don't like is all the hopping, but that is just personal taste, other then that it looked good to me.

what's with the stick? a training tool?

Ryan, The stick is used to keep your dog in line with you once he is off leash. It's used for an extension of your arm so you don't have to bend over to help place your dog in the correct heel position, and you can keep walking and turning without stopping. If the dog gets too far ahead you can put the stick across his chest and bring him back into line. If he gets too far behind you can move him up with it from behind, if he drifts too far away you can push him back into the correct position. The dog in the video was very intent on his owner's every move and was staying attached at the hip. The stick has been used in obediance training for a long time to help newly off leash dogs figure out what is going on and not drift incorrectly. Jackie

The question would be is how to remove the conditioner - "the stick" from the routine. I'd love to see the same dog without the stick.
