To hot to run the dog today so... I sighted in my cheap Remington 770 rifle 270 cal with the cheap Winchester ammo. Then Shot 3 Winchester and 3 Remington at 50 yards. I then moved to 100 yards. I shot at different size bulls-eyes but the squares are all 1": 3 Hornady (big target) 3 Winchester (big target) 3 Remington (small target) All ammo was purchased on sale boxes of 20, Hornady was $29 Winchester $18 Remington $16 The Winchester had the bluntest tip and wouldn't always chamber well. The Remington and Hornady chambered smoothly. I'll be buying more of the Remington ammo. Your results may vary. Frank

Hey Frankie, looks like your gun likes the Rmington ammo the best. There is nothing wrong with Rem corelokts. I like em if I am buy loaded ammo. I usually use the Hornady when reloading.....but they passed new regs here and we have to use all copper.
