After watching that video of the heeling dog, I decided to lock up the other dogs and do some work with Iko - in the kitchen as there is 10" of snow on the ground... We've been working on a flip finish, and he's got it. Now he anticipates, and won't even wait for my command. So I make him wait, and darn if he jumps to heel before I say it. Worrked that out. He is so funny, I read someone else's post abou the same thing, Iko willl go through his entire repetoire trying to do what I ask! He'll down, sitz, roll over, and then he'd figure it out. Then we did a bunch of quarter turns, right and left and he's pretty good! One of my goals is freestyle obedience. Kinda different from curt and Gator - if they bomb at Sch, they'll go cat hunting. If Iko and I bomb, we're going for doggie dancing! Just thought that doggie dancing would really impress this group of ruffians... ;D [glow=red,2,300]Mel[/glow] In Michigan's Lake Effect region
