Hi all, my name is Linda but I am formally known as Holly (Little Sister)'s mom in Las Vegas. Don if you saw your little girl today you would wish you hadn't let her go. She is BIG and BEAUTIFUL! She is the gentle alpha of the pack of three-all dales of course. The new board looks great and I'll post a photo as soon as I get the chance. Well we certainly don't do the show circuit and hunting is scarce for the girls as it gets colder here and they only get what mistakenly comes into the yard. In the past that has been small furries and some birds. I guess the best I can say is that my husband and I are avid Airedale lovers and just enjoy the wonderful stories and light banter on the board.

bob chonski checking in. have my 3rd dale, the Bolt, from a litter of Rick L. 's ouachita dales. plan to work him in obedience, shutz too if i find a convenient local club. my previous dale, the Baron, had akc obedience titles and was an incredible dog, famous throughout the county. brains and brawn, 99 lbs, loved to hunt (i just sent him out and waited till he brought back whatever he killed, mostly groundhogs), fierce protection dog (attacked some gangbangers sneaking up on wife), well socialized with humans and dogs unless...., and then he put the hammer down. i expect Bolt to be the same. that coyote howl? when i clicked to this thread woke him up and he's growling now.

Let me be the very first to welcome you to the board Bob. A long time Airedale owner like yourself, especially someone that has titled his dogs should be a very welcome addition to this board! Looking forward to your posts, pictures and expertise on this board. Best of luck with your new pup Bob, I'm sure you will develop him to his full potential.

Good to hear from you Linda. If memory serves, I wasn't planning on letting Little Sister go.LOL Looking forward to the pictures. I would like to see how she turned out. How big is she anyway? Don, Not yet comfortable on this board so excuse my clumsiness. These are two photos of Holly (and Maggie) that are on PhotoBucket. I have not figured out how to get the actual photo on here. Holly has a beautiful lush coat of black and almost a mahogany tan. She weighs 85 lbs. and is quite lean. She is a great runner and loves to lap the neighborhood whenever she gets the chance. You would be very proud of Little Sister who's not so little now. By the way, you named off all of your current dogs and I didn't see Winchester. Did he pass on? His daughter lives on in his image as she seems to have his traits more than Baily. If you get to the photos, note the shade of her eyes. They are a lovely medium brown. If you are ever in Las Vegas, we would love to have you visit. Regards Linda fixed the link so it could be viewed

Hello All Just back from hunting and am getting acquainted with the new board. Good to see everybody coming on over and congrats to Kyle and Don for the new "look". Had a nice time in the boonies...got one pig I figured to be about 200-220 lb. Got an African Nilgai, an antelope type critter. Also a Sika spike buck and two Axis does. Left the whitetail alone but there are bunches of them out there seems the acorns west of here are abundant. The hog had a 2" shield and the deer were all chubby. Had an interesting introduction to a budding young hog dog...1/4 Airedale !/4 Catahoula and 1/2 Lacey... The pups a real hoot and is already "baying" hogs. His big ears and feet mean he'll be good sized. I began calling him "Mudflaps" because of the ears and it took. He belongs to my friend J Hutto. J is the King of the Hill Country Hog Hunters and a fine guy. Mudflaps is his second Airedale x. The first was Ebow...AiredalexPBT. I'll get pix up soon, when I figure that part out. Sounds like you had a heck of a time Michael. Sounds like quite a variety of game. I love to watch new pups coming on. It is like they just discovered a whole new world. Looking forward to the pictures.

My name is John.I own one Airedale he is our house dog and does his job well as a watchdog.I do quite alot of hunting.I would say Deer mostly but rabbit hunting with beagles a close second.I currently have six beagles in my kennel and also run them in field trials.I also have one Jack Russell terrier who is getting up in age but still gets an occasional trip to the pigery to kill some rats.I have been on a few bear hunts with Plott hounds and have great admiration of the breed.

Welcome to the board John. Did you get any bears when out with the plotts. They are pretty gritty when it comes to hounds.
