its called genetics, both dogs have to carry that perticular gene. The story explains everything. Some critics will not wait, some don't even read, they just have to jack jaw to see themselves in print. Breeding an all blk litter is 3 trillion in one, but it has been done., but there are those who even though facts are in front of them, will never believe what the eye sees......... Ron talked to another eminent genetist a while ago. He posted that the man told him, yes, it is possible. It is somewhere on the board, way back. He even apologized to me for his disbelief. That from him was not necessary. I am sure Ron Stout will tell you thats the truth also, but some of you all ready have your minds made up, glad you don't rule the world. Also on the internet are photos of Black Airedales from the 1930-1943. The Nazi SS troups used them, because they matched their uniforms here is the i1021.photobucket.com/albums/af331/BlackAiredales_album/BlackAiredaleonmotorcycle.jpg

A client of mine from Minnesota, told me his Grandmother, who grew up in Berlin, saw these blacks for her self. It was at one of their demanded rallies, where blacks were used for crowd control.

Also, every ADT carries the gene, but it has to be in the right combination for it to show up. That little tidbit came from another well known genetists. I am in sincere hopes that all of you are learning something from these posting. I know, a few do not care, but this is our breed of choice, so you should. I am teaching something here. A bunch of you are learning, the class clowns don't care to learn.

A question form the dead.. Is there a price difference between a black and a normal black and tan and if so how much? If there is, why shouldn't there be? After all, it would seem that they are cropping up from some of the 'purer' or more original strains...don't you agree, CBV?

Sure .. I was just curious.. I'm a capitalist I believe in making money .. and something that is rare should be worth more I was just wondering how much more... I might buy one...
I wouldn't mind having one for running bear... but then on a ground fight it might be hard to tell which was the bear and which was the dog?

To anyone else asking about the prices about the blacks, I do not have any idea of what the 15 are charging. I again state I have not bred a black in 4 1/2 yrs, but I have 2 of them. last I heard, they went from $1000.00 to $1250.00 plus shipping each.
